To marry the heir of the Kunhyang Group, Cha Jung Won enters a wealthy family under a false identity, borrowing her friend's name. However, the woman who appears before her as her mother-in-law, Han Hye Ra, is none other than Jung Won's biological mother. Hye Ra abandoned her daughter to escape poverty and gain power. Jung Won, scarred by a father framed for murder and a mother who left her, confronts Hye Ra as her future mother-in-law. But just before the wedding, Jung Won learns Hye Ra is her birth mother and vows revenge. A fierce war between two women continues amidst lies and betrayal.
