Plot Summary

Lyu Shao and Li Dun, once lovers, are torn apart when she becomes a consort and he a prince. After taking the throne, his love turns to cruelty, forcing her to plan an escape. A freak accident swaps her body with Noble Consort Wenzhao, who seizes power as Empress Dowager and tries to eliminate her. As Li Dun uncovers the truth, his obsession traps Lyu Shao once more, leading to tragic consequences.
