Plot Summary
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I, the leader of the 300 million-member Orthodox Christian Church, feels crucified living in Turkey under a government that he says would like to see his nearly 2,000-year-old Patriarchate die out. But Christianity was born in Turkey, and the Patriarch says he is not leaving. Bob Simon reports this captivating story steeped in the history of Christianity.
