Plot Summary
Young Natasha Rostova arrives in Moscow to await the return of her fiancé, Prince Andrey, from the war. While there, she is swept into a romance by the rebel Anatole, threatening her noble reputation. As the scandal unfolds, Pierre, a family friend in a midlife crisis, emerges as an unlikely source of tenderness and hope. Based on Volume II, Part V of Leo Tolstoy's novel War and Peace.
