Plot Summary
Amandla is a teenager who lost her father. She lives with her mother and stepfather in a small town called Ngwelezane, in Empangeni. After Amandla's biological father passed away, her mother remarried. The new husband is the family provider and is an autocratic father. Since the passing of her biological father, Amandla has lived a horrific life of emotional and physical abuse from her parents.
