Plot Summary
Sasaki Hiroshi, who loses both his vocal cords and his job due to throat cancer, is shocked to learn that his daughter Kumiko is not his biological child. He and his wife Harumi are anguished as distrust turns into obsession within the speechless Hiroshi.
