Biography
Elected as the District Attorney of Texas in 2016, Mark Gonzalez was given jurisdiction over the case of John Henry Ramirez. With this political power, Gonzalez fought to remove Ramirez's execution. This was the first attempt to remove an execution from a DA of Texas.
