D.K. Lawhorn

Biography

D.K. Lawhorn is a filmmaker and author based out of Central Virginia with his legion of rescue cats. As a citizen of the Monacan Indian Nation, he has deep roots in this area, and his storytelling reflects this connection. He holds degrees from the University of Lynchburg and Randolph College. His previous films include ‘Around the Bend’, ‘sound & fury’, and ‘The Big Swallow’, all available now on YouTube. His published short stories include ‘Mother Tongue’, ‘Rattlers’, and ‘Steinway & His Sons’.
