Alexander Prater is a versatile filmmaker based in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with expertise spanning acting, directing, screenwriting, cinematography, and editing. He is the founder of Obscure Film Company, through which he produces a variety of independent films. Prater’s notable works include “The Five Stages of Quarantine” (2021), “Safety Patrol” (2022), And “Halloween Spooktacular: 2023” (2023). His storytelling is Influenced by his appreciation for the concept of absurdity, a theme he often explores in his projects such as "How To Hide A Body" (2019) and the upcoming "Ghost Buddies: The Gathering." With a passion for filmmaking and a desire to create engaging stories, Prater continues to expand his body of work and contribute to the independent film scene.
