
Lee Jae-kyung
Biography
Lee Jae-kyung, better known by his ring name Jake Lee, is a Zainichi-Korean professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist and weightlifter who joined New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) in July 2024. After suffering a serious knee injury in September 2024 while aligned with Bullet Club War Dogs, he returned to NJPW at Wrestle Kingdom 20 in 2026 as a surprise member of United Empire, marking his first appearance for the promotion in over 16 months. He transitioned to professional wrestling after competing in MMA and powerlifting and made his in-ring debut with All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) in 2011 after training through the promotion’s dojo system. Known as the “Smart Bastard” and previously the “Good Looking Emperor,” Lee is best known for his stints in AJPW and Pro Wrestling NOAH, where he became a two-time Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion, won the 2021 Champion Carnival, led the Good Looking Guys stable from 2023 to 2024, and captured the GHC Heavyweight Championship by defeating Kaito Kiyomiya at Great Voyage in Yokohama in March 2023.
