Yue Chun-Ying

Biography

Yue Chunying (1939-2008), whose real name was Liu Yueli, was from Chiayi. In 1945, she was adopted by Chen Yue'e, the sister of Chen Taichang, the leader of the famous "Autumn Moon" opera troupe in the inner Taiwan. She studied Gezai Opera and served as a nanny student. She also practiced martial arts with Wang Zhoufu.
