Biography

Rati Tsiteladze is a European Film Academy Award-nominated filmmaker. His debut feature documentary, A SONG WITHOUT HOME (2026), celebrates its world premiere at CPH:DOX, making history as the first Georgian documentary to compete in the Main Competition. He is an alumnus of Locarno Academy, TIFF Filmmaker Lab, Berlinale Talents, and Cannes Résidence. His shorts have won over 50 awards and screened at more than 300 festivals worldwide, including Hong Kong and Locarno. His acclaimed short PRISONER OF SOCIETY won multiple Oscar-qualifying awards and was nominated for the European Film Academy Award. Rati received the Moulin d’Andé Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, and at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), he received the HFPA Film Independent Award presented by the Golden Globes.
